It is one of the seven sea temples located on the shores of Bali that create a kind of spiritual barrier against the evil rolling in the currents of the sea. The Pura Tanah Lot is built on a 3-acre rock base and can be reached in a few minutes on foot, as it is only 20 meters from the coastal lip.

Snorkeling in Amed:

Amed is the best place for snorkels in the whole of Bali. This is a sandy beach with black volcanoes located on the eastern tip of Bali and is famous for its snorkeling spots. Easy access from the beach, no currents, and the sand that it contains are what make the place snorkeling very good. It is much less crowded than other beaches in South Bali.
